Not an expert
but a poet
English is just know
nothing complete
My words
Just flow
with no dam
to block and store
my flow
Today at dVerse, Gay is asking us to make up new poetical forms. This may be called Short write.
I always like to write and express in two to three words a like, make it simple. Now thats my way of write what every comes just put it I dont even take time edit or rethink.
It's like an artist's rough pencil sketch - two/three lines, yet gives you a hint of richness to come in the finished product... Nicely expressed, we all need to find that flow.
ReplyDeletehey i am all for making it simple...
ReplyDeleteand just letting the words come
let them find their rhythm
on my page...
Yes, the flow of the words...however they come...I like your form & your message.
ReplyDeleteThe way poetry is really created round those words those amazing spaces, that collision between the words. It's like the stepping stones in a river... very nice.
ReplyDelete"Not an expert but a poet"...great opening! That phrase certainly describes me too! :-)
ReplyDeleteconcise and fun - short write works for me!
ReplyDeleteI think this is where we all begin and sometimes we stay and sometimes we go on for different or more in terms of rhyme, meter, alliteration, assonance, dissonance, consonance, metaphor, similes etc. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteoh, though my brain sometimes disagrees with me, I do like simple. although, sometimes simple is just as hard as complicated. I need to work on just letting it flow like you say and stop laboring so much. nice little verse.
ReplyDeleteWrite it like it is. No better way to express a thought than to pen it the moment it touches our head. I appreciate your effort. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteah it is good to let those words flow without dam...
ReplyDeletei hope you have a wonderful weekend....smiles
